Scholarship Requirements

Penang Scholar 2026

  1. Minimum CGPA 3.67
  2. Malaysian 25 years or younger
  3. Household annual income not more than RM 180,000 (RM 15,000 per month)
  4. Students intend to pursue undergraduate degree (must have completed STPM/ Foundation/ Matriculation/ Diploma/ UEC & equivalent) OR currently pursuing undergraduate degree in any IPT in Malaysia.
  5. Only sponsors full MQA-accredited undergraduate degree courses in Science*, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Accountancy/ Finance (STEMAF).
    *Exclude Medicine*

Mutiara Scholar 2026

  1. Minimum CGPA 3.00
  2. Malaysian 25 years or younger
  3. Household annual income not more than RM 60,000 (RM 5,000 per month)
  4. Students intend to pursue undergraduate degree (must have completed STPM/ Foundation/ Matriculation/ Diploma/ UEC & equivalent) OR currently pursuing undergraduate degree in any IPT in Malaysia.
  5. Only sponsors full MQA-accredited undergraduate degree courses in Science*, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Accountancy/ Finance (STEMAF).
